WHICH MATERIAL USES KLIMBIM FOR THEIR JEWELLERY?

All our jewellery is made up of nickelfree brass, which is gold plated or rhodanised for the silver colored pieces. Rhodium is a member of the platinum group and is a rare, silvery-white, hard, and chemically inert transition metal, used as jewellery or whatch coating. In Klimbim you can also find a selection of jewels made up of Sterling Silver.

WHAT DOES GOLD PLATED MEAN?

All our jewelry is gold plated with a thickness of 1 micron and a gold intensity of 24k.

Gold plating is a method of depositing a thin layer of gold onto the surface of another metal, most often copper, brass or silver, by chemical or electrochemical plating.

HOW TO CARE MY KLIMBIM JEWELS?

These surface treatments will fade over time due to contact with water, clothes, hard surfaces, sweat, perfume, hairspray, air pollution, etc.

For optimal preservation avoid contact with cleaning supplies, beauty products, soaps and water. We suggest to remove your jewelry when wash your hands and shower.

If your jewelry should become dirty or dull, gently wipe it clean with a jewelry cloth.

WHERE ARE THE KLIMBIM JEWELS PRODUCED?

Every Klimbim piece is produced in our studio and we work hand in hand with our local suppliers and craftsmen who trly know their trade. All the used chains and supplies are produced in Spain and the guilder works near our studio in Barcelona.
